That’s when Pure Ohio Wellness came to Cannabis Creative. With multiple locations and a new adult-use market opening up, their main goals for this website design and development project were twofold:

  1. 1. Create a seamless user experience for both new and returning customers.
  2. 2. Enable shoppers to quickly find deals and menus relevant to their preferred location and product needs (medical vs. recreational).

We were tasked with building a site that could organize all of this information — two cities, two types of cannabis customers, constantly shifting inventory and promotions — without overwhelming the user. So, our design and development team got to work creating a bright, intuitive site that was easy to navigate and aligned with the upbeat, approachable tone of the Pure Ohio Wellness brand identity.

The Solution: How We Turned “Just Browsing” into “Just Bought It”

While the new website design we came up with looked fabulous (of course), the most important thing was its function. We were able to deliver these custom features to customize the user experience and actually drive conversions:

  • Location Selector & Menu Toggle. Users can choose their dispensary location and toggle between medical and recreational menus. This makes browsing smoother than one of Pure Ohio’s vape carts.
  • Pre-Scheduled Daily Deals. Specials can be scheduled in advance on the backend, so their team can proactively plan promotional calendars. This prevents internal bottlenecks and ensures customers are always seeing timely, relevant information.
  • Dynamic Inventory Integration. Real-time menus mean site visitors can see what’s in stock at their preferred shop location, plus see customized “product” and “vendor of the day” highlights.
