Driving Patient Sign-ups & Dispensary Foot Traffic for Revolutionary Clinics

Revolutionary Clinics (“Rev Clinics”) is a medical marijuana clinic that provides natural solutions to patients across the Greater Boston Area. Founded in 2014, the company has three locations in Boston and Cambridge, MA and seeks to improve the lives of patients within the community with their high-quality, medical-grade cannabis.

CHALLENGE

Rev Clinics needed assistance in attracting new customers to its locations and increasing brand awareness and in-store foot traffic. Specifically, the client was searching for a partner that was well aware of the advertising restrictions surrounding cannabis marketing in Massachusetts.

SOLUTION

The Cannabis Creative team decided to use Google Ads to attract new customers to Rev Clinics locations using a geo-targeted approach. Initial efforts, therefore, included working with Google’s restrictions to find new ways to successfully launch the dispensary ads and landing pages. 

Using this research, a custom landing page was designed to capture an individual’s email and informed a successful drip campaign and the team ran a pay-per-click campaign using strategic keyword bidding around the various Rev Clinics locations. The client was able to see how many leads were captured as well as compare the number of leads to the amount of foot traffic with in-store visits.

The Cannabis Creative team also prepared a unique method for tracking foot traffic and new customers back to the created advertising campaign through the use of an offer and discount code. The offer and discount code allowed the team to trace not only traffic and new leads to the landing page, but actual customer conversions who came into the stores and made a purchase. Cannabis Creative was able to track number of new patients, store visits and the customer value of each new lead that came through these marketing campaigns.

Results

The pay-per-click campaign was successful and drove thousands of impressions and visitors to the landing pages and ultimately the dispensaries. The Rev Clinics advertising campaign cultivated brand awareness and led thousands of customers through the sales funnel. As a result, Rev Clinics saw a boost in foot traffic and will continue to see additional increases in the audience as these PPC efforts launch long-term effects in growing their customer base. The ROI that Cannabis Creative was able to drive Revolutionary Clinics was beyond what was originally expected.
