Our team partnered with Green Apple to build their brand and launch their website, combining that classic New York grit with modern digital strategy. From logo concepts to a fully integrated ecommerce menu, we crafted a look and feel that’s as fresh as the name implies.

Meet the Neighborhood’s Newest Staple: Green Apple NYC

Green Apple isn’t just another cannabis shop popping up in New York. It’s a fully immersive, street-smart dispensary experience designed by and for the locals. Nestled in an emerging part of the city that’s evolved from industrial edge to creative haven, Green Apple was designed to bring a sense of home and comfort to every visitor.

The founders are native New Yorkers who’ve watched the neighborhood transform over the years while keeping its soul intact. Inside, the shopping space feels like a continuation of that same vibe. With design elements that combine art deco elegance and street-style rawness, it’s both gritty and glamorous. In a city with constant commotion, this was done with intention to create a sensory sanctuary that invites customers in. And most importantly, keep them coming back.

How We Created Buzz Before the Doors Even Opened

As a brand-new dispensary in a crowded market, Green Apple needed to hit the ground running and make a bold first impression. The founder came to us with a clear goal: make the brand cool. Think elevated bodega vibes but with a twist.

They wanted something that felt like it had always been on the block, but was also totally new. A delicate balance to achieve, but we think we hit the nail on the head.

From Moodboard to Modern Dispensary Brand

We kicked off our partnership with an initial moodboard and logo exploration activity, with a series of brand concepts each rooted in a different aesthetic:

Industrial, Confident, Edgy
Bold, Timeless, Modular
Fusion, Chic, Ornate

Ultimately, we found the sweet spot with a fusion of all these concepts. The final brand is a fresh take on industrial style with bold, city-rooted design. The design team reimagined the traditional “cannabis green” with a palette that felt more curated, more fashion-forward, and 100% Green Apple. Just like we were going for, this strikes an ideal balance between raw and refined, paying homage to NYC’s history while still looking ahead.

 

Here’s what we delivered:

A custom set of logos and visual identity that felt distinctly urban and unmistakably Green Apple.

A full brand book complete with messaging guidelines and visual elements.

A pre-store-opening landing page to build early buzz and capture leads.

A fully human-written yet SEO-optimized website with native ecommerce integration, including Spark Menu functionality, allowing customers to browse and buy with ease.
